Sid Taberlay and Manny Prado, riders on Team SHO-Air, will be at at Over the Hump next week.
Prado and Taberlay will conduct a pre-race talk for participants interested in getting some tips and tricks on racing from the pros, right before the race. Then, they’ll clip in and ride out with the experts in Over the Hump’s inaugural race next Wednesday.
Taberlay is a five time Australian National Champion, Athen’s Olympian, World Championship Medalist, and the winner of the West Coast US Cup PRO XCT Series.
Prado is the Costa Rica National XCO Champion 2009, and in 2008 finished third overall in the Leadville 100 Right behind Lance Armstrong.
Taberlay and Prado will be conducting a short prerace talk. They will preview the race course earlier in the day, and will share their tips and course strategy with newer racers.
- 5:15-5:30pm: Pro’s pre-race talk at the staging area
- 6:00pm: Race starts with Manny and Sid joining the expert field
- Meet Manny and other racers at Tustin Brewing Company’s after race celebration- sale proceeds go to Project Rwanda
